These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Echo Remover application ("the App") published by Bulpara ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Echo Remover is an iOS application that removes room echo and reverb from voice recordings. You can import an existing audio file (such as an exported call recording, lecture, interview, voiceover, or podcast take) or record a new take in the App. Cleanup is performed off-device by a third-party processing service and the cleaned result is returned to you. Features include a free before/after preview, a Gentle-to-Strong strength control, and saving or sharing the cleaned audio.

2. Important Limitations

Echo Remover is an audio cleanup tool, not a guaranteed restoration service. You understand and agree that:

• The App is trained for speech recordings (monologue, calls, interviews, lectures). Results on music, singing, or non-speech audio may be poor or unusable.
• Heavy reverb (large halls, tiled bathrooms, very live rooms) may leave audible residual artifacts. Light-to-moderate room reverb is the App's primary use case.
• Output quality depends on the original recording's noise floor, microphone, and signal-to-reverb ratio.
• Enhance-only. The App cleans and restores your existing voice. It does not clone voices, make AI covers, change your voice, generate speech, transcribe audio, or separate or remove background music.
• The App is not a replacement for professional audio engineering or studio post-production.
• Because processing is performed off-device, an internet connection is required to clean a file.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only on audio you own or have the right to process. When prompted, you confirm that you have these rights. You agree not to:

• Process recordings of other people without their knowledge or consent where required by law
• Use the App to remove identifying characteristics from authenticated voice recordings for fraud or impersonation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying machine-learning model
• Attempt to circumvent free-tier limits, the fair-use allowance, or device-level metering
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or third-party rights

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: No charge. 3 lifetime before/after previews (up to 30 seconds each) per device, with no account and no ads.
• Premium Monthly: $7.99/month. Full-length processing up to 10 minutes per file with a generous monthly fair-use allowance, Gentle/Standard/Strong strength control, and save, share, and full history.
• Premium Annual: $39.99/year (save ~58% vs. monthly), with a 7-day free trial. Same Premium feature set as monthly.
• Fair use: Premium includes a generous monthly processing allowance intended for normal personal use. It exists only to prevent abuse of the off-device processing service and is not expected to affect ordinary use.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If you cancel during the free trial before it ends, you will not be charged.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers retain their original price for the remainder of the active term.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to your audio. To perform cleanup, your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our processing provider, processed, and returned to you, then auto-deleted within 24 hours. We do not retain your audio as part of any permanent profile, and we do not use it to train AI. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and packaged content, is owned by Bulpara and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. The underlying machine-learning model is licensed for use within the App only and may not be extracted or redistributed.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT CLEANUP RESULTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR A SPECIFIC RECORDING.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Decisions made based on a cleaned recording (publication, broadcast, distribution)
• Audio quality of cleaned outputs, including residual artifacts from heavy reverb
• Loss of original recordings due to user error or device failure
• Subscription-related charges that fall under Apple's billing policy

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, including any audio you process and distribute, and any rights you assert over recordings you submit.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
